Exciting presentations on current topics
The dhc in Bülach near Zurich is the largest Swiss network and innovation hub for digitalization in the healthcare sector with the aim of driving forward practical digital solutions for modern healthcare. The diverse event on November 19, 2025 focused on questions that will shape the future of the industry: How much AI makes sense? When do we need people "in" or "on the loop" and in which situation are we even "out of the loop"? In his keynote speech, Prof. Dr. Yoshija Walter commented on this question and other aspects of current developments in the field of AI.
Prof. Dr. Alfred Angerer from the ZHAW also provided exciting insights into the degree of digitalization in our healthcare system with the Digital Health Report 25/26. Based on an examination of six key stakeholder groups, the study conducts an in-depth analysis of the status of digital transformation.
The core finding: the digital maturity level of healthcare players is only mediocre overall and very unevenly distributed: Pharmaceuticals and insurers are ahead, hospitals in the midfield, while doctors' surgeries, pharmacies and Spitex are lagging well behind.
Digitalization you can touch
At our stand in the "Market of Opportunities", visitors were able to experience live demos of how cora can be used in healthcare organizations. We were able to demonstrate how cora can take over hardware management via automation & self-service. It was encouraging for us to see the positive response to the idea of cora, especially in the context of hospitals. Large hospitals such as the Cantonal Hospital St. Gallen, the Cantonal Hospital Aarau (KSA) and the Schwarzwald-Baar Klinik are already successfully using cora machines.
