Premiere of the User Group Meeting at cora headquarters

A special event took place on September 19, 2024: The first on-site User Group Meeting (UGM) of cora technology solutions AG at our headquarters. This event was a premiere in two respects: firstly, it was held as a physical meeting for the first time - previously, our User Group Meetings always took place online. Secondly, the event was held under the new company name "cora technology solutions AG" for the first time, after we emerged from pidas AG as an independent company this year.

The seven-strong core team from cora was on site to welcome our customers in person. After a welcome from cora CEO Melanie Müller, things got underway straight away. The UGM program comprised four exciting items: 

Customer presentation by MIGROS

There are currently two cora IT-machines in use at Migros - one at the main location in Zurich (Limmatplatz) and one in Schönbühl. Kai Mindgard and Martin Bichsel are very satisfied with the performance of the machines and already see further areas of application and locations where cora can provide added value. It is clear that they have done a really good job as local IT with the introduction of cora, because the HR team also presents cora to the new employees on Welcome Day and introduces the IT-machine as an innovative part of the company.

Customer reporting at a glance

Saifudin Sharityar, Chief Customer Officer at cora, presented three customer reports and showed how customers are already successfully using the self-service use case and how this can be seen directly in the figures. He also presented the integration of cora in Power BI, which some customers have already implemented themselves using our REST APIs. Soon, cora will provide its own Power BI template to make integration even easier.

Outlook to the future: relaunch of the cora cloud software

Chief Product Officer Marcel Leonhard unveiled the upcoming relaunch of the cora Cloud platform. An exclusive preview of the new cora Overview was presented to those present - a major step with many new functions and improved user-friendliness. The anticipation was palpable!

KI in IT support - presentation by pidas

At the end, Thomas Ogi, Chief Commercial Officer of our sister company pidas, presented exciting application examples of artificial intelligence in IT support. The practical presentation showed concrete application possibilities that directly inspired our customers.

The User Group Meeting ended with a pleasant aperitif, where our customers had the opportunity to exchange ideas and relax at the end of the day. A special thank you goes to our customer Migros for the exciting insights into their use of cora.
