The first year as an independent company is over. CEO Melanie Müller looks back on a few milestones of the last 12 months and shares cora's plans for the future.

Around 120,000 end users in 10 countries use cora. A lot has happened at cora technology solutions AG in 2024 and the journey continues. Next year, the company will continue to grow internationally and even more IT support organizations will benefit from cora.

How has the IT vending machine cora developed this year?

Melanie Müller: At first glance, the vending machine has hardly changed externally - the hardware has proven itself and passed all material and safety tests with flying colors. But underneath the "hard steel shell", a lot has changed in the software.

The new Scanning Use Case is particularly noteworthy: this allows serial numbers to be scanned and automatically documented when they are removed - a function that is a game changer for many customers, especially when managing multiple assets such as laptops in a locker.

We now also offer a Lite version of cora - ideal for companies with smaller offices next to the main site. This means that decentralized teams also benefit from 24/7 IT support at the highest level.

And what has changed in the area of services?

Melanie Müller: Our project team has evolved and offers customized use case workshops that are tailored to specific areas of application or industries. This draws on the experience gained from over 60 customer projects - a valuable basis for developing even more precise solutions. Look forward to 2025: our software roadmap is packed with new features that will continue to revolutionize IT support!

CEO Melanie Müller looks to the future of cora with confidence.

Is there a current customer story that shows how cora creates added value?

Melanie Müller: A particularly inspiring example comes from MIGROS, Switzerland's leading retailer. There, cora is now part of the office tour on Welcome Day for new employees. The HR department proudly presents the vending machine as an innovative self-service offering that not only brings efficiency, but also shapes the company's image.

This story shows that cora goes far beyond mere cost reduction: it becomes a symbol of innovation and user-centricity. An outstanding NPS score of 81 and a user satisfaction score of 4.8 out of 5 makes this visible.

How does cora continue to differ from other vending machine solutions?

Melanie Müller: From IT support, for IT support. That is and remains our DNA and therefore also underlines our credibility in the market. We know the requirements and needs of our customers, are in constant communication and incorporate the feedback and new topics that concern our community directly into the further development of cora. The combination of hardware and our smart software is unique and covers all use cases in IT and related areas. In addition, we do not see ourselves as a provider of vending machines - we take IT support to the next level thanks to automation with cora. The machine is a "means to an end". Intelligent integration into the systems and processes to create effective end-to-end automation is the key.

Which IT trends are particularly relevant for the future of cora?

Melanie Müller: We observe trends critically and always check what concrete benefits they offer our customers. An important focus is on hyperautomation: we strive for deep integration with existing systems such as ITSM suites, asset management, store software and HR tools. This is the only way to achieve true end-to-end automation that maximizes efficiency and cost savings.

We also focus on accessibility: with REST APIs and certified plug-ins - such as for ServiceNow or soon Matrix42 - we make implementation easier and faster.

...and what about AI?

Melanie Müller: Artificial intelligence also offers exciting opportunities. The first customers are already using chatbots and voicebots that interact directly with cora. But our vision goes further: with predictive analytics, we want to plan asset requirements in advance to make filling logistics even more cost-efficient.

We are also driven by topics such as sustainability and green IT. Through optimized lifecycle management and the ability to flexibly lend assets, we help our customers use resources more efficiently.

Last but not least, we attach great importance to security. Our deep integration into our customers' infrastructure requires the highest standards, which we have also proven in penetration tests. And with our new security package in accordance with IT baseline protection, we are ideally equipped - authorities, here we come!

What can customers and partners expect from cora next year?

Melanie Müller: We are continuing to grow - in our team, our services and our products. 2025 will be characterized by even more user-friendliness, increased efficiency and new use cases, both in IT and in related areas. Together with our customers and our strong partner network, we are shaping the future of IT automation.
