Initial situation
The hospital's IT support team was faced with increasing demands and a growing need for 24/7 availability. The manual issue of IT assets such as power supply units, toners or mice led to frequent interruptions in the IT team's day-to-day work. There was also a desire to provide employees with a flexible solution that was available at all times without having to tie up additional human resources.
The search for a powerful solution to these challenges began. From the outset, it was clear that the clinic's chosen path of innovative self-service processes should be consistently continued. Patient registration in the reception area of the Schwarzwald-Baar Klinikum is already carried out digitally and efficiently via self-service terminals.
