We are very happy! The cora IT-machine, developed by pidas, has won this year's iF Design Award and is now one of the winners of the world-renowned design label.

The innovative IT vending machine was awarded in the «Product» discipline, category «Public/Retail». The iF Design Award is presented once a year by the world's oldest independent design institution, iF International Forum Design GmbH in Hanover.

cora impressed the 98-member independent international jury of experts with its innovative approach. The function and the idea were rated particularly highly. The jurors also analyzed and weighted criteria such as form, impact and differentiation in the selection process. The number of applicants was large: the jury had to select the winners of the coveted seal of approval from almost 10,000 submissions from 52 countries.

Since 1954, the iF DESIGN AWARD has been a globally recognized trademark when it comes to design excellence. The iF Design brand is internationally established as a symbol of outstanding design achievements. The iF DESIGN AWARD is one of the most important design prizes in the world. It honors design achievements in all disciplines: product, packaging, communication and service design, architecture and interior design as well as professional concept, user experience (UX) and user interface (UI).
