PVH is one of the largest global lifestyle companies, best known for its Calvin Klein and TOMMY HILFIGER brands. Around 500 employees work at the German headquarters in Düsseldorf.
Initial situation
In order to be able to successfully offer new work concepts such as flex desks and comprehensive home offices in Düsseldorf, PVH was looking for an innovative IT vending machine that would make the distribution of IT hardware and accessories more flexible and user-friendly.
Previously, IT hardware was distributed via the service desk, which not only took up valuable working time, but also meant that availability was limited to the working hours of the IT staff. To improve this process for everyone involved, PVH was looking for a modern solution that would simplify and speed up the process. cora met all the requirements set during the evaluation and was selected for use at PVH.
Implementation
The introduction of the cora IT system was both professional and efficient. At the beginning, the use cases were customized to PVH's specific requirements, which were subsequently implemented during ongoing operations.
Today, cora is used in a variety of application areas: from the removal of IT peripherals and cables in self-service to the lending of devices that are charged in the IT vending machine and are already fully configured and ready for use. In addition, cora offers the option of returning devices outside of regular service hours - an important gain in flexibility for PVH employees.
Success
Thanks to cora, the number of interruptions to the IT infrastructure team's day-to-day work has been significantly reduced. The need to manually process every hardware issue and replacement is now a thing of the past. These processes now run largely autonomously in self-service. In addition, cora only needs to be filled with new articles every two weeks.
The feedback from employees has been very positive. The self-service process and the user experience with cora are generally well received. The 24/7 availability of IT assets is also highly appreciated. What was once seen as a tedious necessity has now become a positive point of contact with the IT department.
The implementation of New Work concepts at PVH has been significantly facilitated by the successful implementation of cora. In addition, valuable resources have been freed up in the PVH IT infrastructure team. This enables the team to focus more intensively on specialized activities in the IT Service Corner and at the same time invest more energy in the implementation of projects.
Outlook
Due to its great success, PVH is planning to expand its new service offering. For example, SSO integration is to be implemented in future, enabling employees to log in directly to the cora IT terminal using their company badges.
There are also plans to integrate cora seamlessly into the ServiceNow ITSM platform used by PVH. Thanks to a certified plug-in from cora, this integration is simple and has already been successfully implemented many times. These enhancements will be implemented in a step-by-step process and will always be carried out in close coordination with the cora Customer Success Manager.
